I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HUNTING GROUND VOL 1"。 This is an awesome collection you don't want miss getting fill of steamy scenes， intrigue， suspense， darkness， mystery， fast paced， action， twists that have you turning the pages you can't get enough。"OVER THE FLAMES" This is a suspense thriller following Arden & her ex Lawson we learn about their past they try to focus on investigation， they see a different side up each other tensions are high alot of twists notional turmoil。"INTO THE VEI I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HUNTING GROUND VOL 1"。 This is an awesome collection you don't want miss getting fill of steamy scenes， intrigue， suspense， darkness， mystery， fast paced， action， twists that have you turning the pages you can't get enough。"OVER THE FLAMES" This is a suspense thriller following Arden & her ex Lawson we learn about their past they try to focus on investigation， they see a different side up each other tensions are high alot of twists notional turmoil。"INTO THE VEINS"。 This is Colson & Blair's story she's a Sheriff he's a PI their looking into Media Influencers being targeted & murdered in horrible situations she not happy to be working with him even if she doesn't trust him the victims are a priority。"BITS & PIECES" Victims are being found dead with missing organs it reminds January of her other case that a deeper plot is behind this murder & she thinks its a serial killer。Lincoln her ex dropped her for a job suddenly shows up tho king hell get the credit when she finds the killer。"View From Above" Payton is a good Detective one of the best he's also a special team investigator the serial killer murders in secret he refuses to give up the case Mallory has suffered alot mostly because of her father， she doesn't quite accept his death was suicide， convinced its murder she ends up working with Payton when a second murder happens & he worries about her safety。I definitely recommend to get this boxset you won't be disappointed these are all terrific stories with interesting characters that pull it all together so well worth the read。 。。。more

Over the Flames :An Absolutely Outstanding Suspense Romance 。I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of The Hunting Grounds box set Vol。 1 。 This story was intriguing and Suspenseful from start to finish 。 It's full of twists and turns 。 It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat 。 The characters are fantastic and it is wonderfully written 。 Heartbreaking at times 。 Not only is it a suspense romance it's a second chance also 。 Arden Olsen is an investigative reporter 。 She fi Over the Flames :An Absolutely Outstanding Suspense Romance 。I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of The Hunting Grounds box set Vol。 1 。 This story was intriguing and Suspenseful from start to finish 。 It's full of twists and turns 。 It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat 。 The characters are fantastic and it is wonderfully written 。 Heartbreaking at times 。 Not only is it a suspense romance it's a second chance also 。 Arden Olsen is an investigative reporter 。 She finds herself in danger when she discovers her best friend and mentors burnt remains 。 FBI special agent Lawson Mitchell finds his ex-wifeThe woman he still loves at the latest crime scene 。 The two find they never stopped loving each other after the lost their daughter and Arden filed for divorce 。 Maybe they can work through their complicated relationship if they can stay alive and stop the serial killer 。 I could not put this Spectacular story down 。Into The Veins :An Intense and Action packed Suspense Romance 。 I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Into the Veins 。 I absolutely loved reading it 。 King County SheriffBlair Sanders is called to a scene at a isolated hiking trail 。 Where a Social Media Influencer's body was found 。 Blair will need the help of PIColson Rutherford whether she wants it or not 。As the killings continue both Blair and Colson find themselves in danger of loosing their hearts and their lives 。 This story is thrilling ， intense ， Suspenseful just outstanding 。Bits and Pieces: I really enjoyed reading this story。 FBI Criminologist January Reese heads to a homicide of a woman who is missing an organ 。 She really never expected BAU and former boyfriend Lincoln Dunn to appear at the scene and part of the investigation 。 January is not happy to see Lincoln especially after he just snuck out of their bed to take the job with the BAU 。 Lincoln is trying to save his career with the BAU 。 He is keeping the secret from January at least he thinks so 。 The pull and chemistry between the two is intense and when the killer turns their attention towards them 。 They realize their feelings are still there 。 If they survive and catch the killer 。 They can mend fences 。 This story is off the charts with suspense and intrigue and definitely romance 。 So much action I could not put it down。 View from above : A Spectacular Suspense Romance 。 This story is intense ， action packed， Suspenseful and all out sensational 。 It kept me turning the pages 。 Mallory Kotite is convinced her father's death wasn't a suicide 。 She convinces Detective Payton Nichols to look a second time when another death from the same building happens 。 As they grow close during the investigation the killer sets sights on Mallory 。 Payton and Mallory must fight for their lives while the attempt to catch the killer and find out if this case connects with the previous serial killers 。 I absolutely loved reading this story 。 Definitely an on the edge of your seat read 。 。。。more

Over the FlamesLoved this start to a new series。 It kept me on the edge of my seat as FBI Special Agent Lawson Mitchell and investigative journalist Arden Olsen worked not only find a killer but to piece together how their marriage had fallen apart。 From the heart pounding suspense to the vulnerability both of the characters showed at times， it was definitely an emotional read。 I could feel the intensity of Agent Mitchell and the tenacity of Arden， and their connection to each other。 I can't wai Over the FlamesLoved this start to a new series。 It kept me on the edge of my seat as FBI Special Agent Lawson Mitchell and investigative journalist Arden Olsen worked not only find a killer but to piece together how their marriage had fallen apart。 From the heart pounding suspense to the vulnerability both of the characters showed at times， it was definitely an emotional read。 I could feel the intensity of Agent Mitchell and the tenacity of Arden， and their connection to each other。 I can't wait for the next book。Into the VeinsThere's another murder in King County and Sheriff Blair Sanders is the lead on this case， although she does have help from the FBI and Colson Rutherford， a PI。 Sheriff Sanders has a reason for not trusting PIs but she knows that Colson has information that could be critical to solving the murder so she reluctantly agrees to let him help in the investigation。 And as they work together， both of them have to deal with events that happened when they were children， especially if their feelings for each other are to go anywhere。 You will be on the edge of your seat as they work to find the killer and to see if their relationship can survive。Bits and PiecesFBI criminologist January Reese has her hands full with trying to solve her third serial killer case。 And as if that isn't enough of a challenge， she finds that Lincoln Dunn has been allowed to join the case。 The last time she saw him was a year ago when he up and left without a word to join the BAU on the east coast。 Both of these characters experience revelations in their personal lives as they race against time to find the serial killer as bodies start to pile up。 There is plenty of suspense and action as the story unfolds。View from AboveSo much suspense。 And so much chemistry between Mallory and Payton。 These were two pretty complex characters who each managed to work their way under the other's defenses as they spent time working together。 At the same time， they helped each other to heal from past traumas。 So many surprises along the way in this story and I can't wait for the next book in the series。 。。。more

Nichole Severn knocked it out of the park with Over The Flames， the first book in the Hunting Grounds series。 The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat。 I also shed a few tears as Arden and Lawson find romance again after their loss。 With the teaser at the end of the book I was eagerly awaiting Book 2。This second book in the series， Into the Veins， is full of action and intrigue and heavy on the suspense with a little bit of romance thrown in。 I enjoyed it as much as the first book and couldn’ Nichole Severn knocked it out of the park with Over The Flames， the first book in the Hunting Grounds series。 The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat。 I also shed a few tears as Arden and Lawson find romance again after their loss。 With the teaser at the end of the book I was eagerly awaiting Book 2。This second book in the series， Into the Veins， is full of action and intrigue and heavy on the suspense with a little bit of romance thrown in。 I enjoyed it as much as the first book and couldn’t wait for the next in the series。 The only thing that frustrates me with this book and of her others is that the good guys always seem to be physically weaker than the villains which is unrealistic to me。Book three， Bits and Pieces， was a fabulous romantic suspense。 January has to work with Lincoln after he just up and left her。 This is their second chance at love while working together to solve the murders。 I loved the intrigue and attempting to unravel all the clues。Book four， View from Above， was a fabulous story and characters。 I loved how the author keeps you in suspense。 。。。more

past but the focus stay on the investigation and it helps us to understand them better。。。。they need to speak to each other but they tend to keep their feeling unsaid。。。。。。the investigation help them to discover a new side of each other and the tension is very high。really if the series stays of this quality it must not be missed at all and could become a tv shows it was that good reallybook2: into the veinstThis was a fabulous mystery really， the investigation is well written and the story is gripping your attention and not letting go。It's the second book in the series but honestly you could start with this one and not be lost， reading in order just deepen the understanding of the red line but each book has its own investigation solved。Colson is not the usual hero。。。。。i liked him he was a bit like a child enjoying the adventure， very intelligent， making mistake but deep down he is a real good guy。 We do learn about him with his exchange with Blairand it helps better understanding his reasons。Blair。。。。。she too suffered as a child as a result she is keeping people away but she is a very talented sheriff and a good artist on the side。 I loved to see her banter with January （ her best friend/sister） and putting her difference aside for the investigationMedia influencers are targetted， and found murdered in horrible conditions 。。。 the sheriff Blair wants to put an halt on it and when Colson a private investigator interfere she is not happy but even if she does not trust him victims have priority。This series is really just getting better and better， really a good one not to miss book3: bits and piecesThis was fabulous！ Totally shaking your grounds as the tension grew and grew。。。amazing。This is the third book in the series but definitively could work as a stand alone as we only get the redline at the end of the book with a kind od recap of precedent books。。。。。before that point the investigation is the main storyline and totally engrossing， you are hooked and can't wait for January to find the culprit but so afraid for her at the same time。Victims are found dead with missing organs。。。。 somehow for January that makes her think about other case and she think a deeper plot is behind this murder and she suspects a serial killer。。。but while it's her investigation her ex who dropped her for a job suddenly reappear to get the fame hoping she will find the culprit but he will get the benefits from case solved。。。。For January it's not easy but victims come first so she is willing to put her feelings and distrust aside for the time being。。。。。but with a serial killer determined。。。。。she will need more help that she can imagine。I loved January and her background， i loved also the links with precedent books useful but not the focus as she speak with her sister。 She is determined， loyal and really talented 。Lincoln had a difficult past and he made him a jerk but in the past January saw past that except that he left her， taking a job she deserved without an apology。。。。 honestly it was hard to like him but as the story progress we understand him a little more。。。still not my favourite but i don't dislike him。This book is really central in the series so i can'（t recommend you enough to give the series a chance， great book， even better read in order you will just wat more （ could be a great tv show！）book 4: View from aboveThis book was captivating， i admit i needed a moment to put the characters back in my mind as we are starting to get severals in this series but it's addictive。Payton is a good detective， one of the best and while doing his "daily" job he is also on the special team investigating the serial murders in secret。。。。that's quite a lot to do but he is determined and while investigating he refuse to give up a case。。。 However he also has flaws， he was hurt younger and it led to trust issues which has impacted his work with his difficulties to keep a partner。Mallory has suffered greatly and mostly because of her father。。however she can't accept that is death could be a suicide。 Convinced its a murder， Mallory is sending message after message to the detective she think could look outside the evidences。。。。when a second death happens she starts investigating herself and Payton can't ignore her anymore especially when she is in danger。Their partnership grow as they slowly open to each other， trust is tentative but danger is even more present and they will need full trust to survive。It was fabulous， we really could understand the characters behaviour， the investigation is really well written keepng us on edge i absolutely loved this book！ I do recommend to read the seriesin order but you easily get into the story even without knowing the series （ but it's so good you should not miss it） i can't wait for next one！ 。。。more
